Taking photographs began as a way to share her mountain lifestyle with friends and family. In 2000 she became a full time photographer after being hired by the Vail Resorts corporate marketing department. Less than one year later she had her first national magazine assignment for Shape Magazine.
Leisa now photographs every aspect of resort life on a daily basis. In the winter months that includes skiing, snowboarding, scenic landscapes, dinner sleigh rides and town imagery. In the summer months that includes mountain biking, golfing, hiking, horseback riding and kayaking. Add to this mix some dining, shopping, lifestyles, interiors and executive portraits and you have a good idea of her daily photographic routine.
Wedding photography is also a big part of Leisa's life. She spends many Saturdays creating beautiful and memorable images for couples from all over the world. This is something she is very proud of and it shows in the elegant albums she builds for her clients.
When not on an assignment or photographing a wedding, Leisa can be found relaxing at her Breckenridge home or hiking with her family and their Bernese Mountain Dog.
